Summary 0000685: Moving .Htaccess and Cache.sh files to more suable location
Description Required changed:

1. Move /tools/.htaccess to /.htaccess (root of installation)

2. Create proper .htaccess file with DENY based in file types

3. Move and rename /system/cache/clean.sh to /tools/clear_cache.sh AND updated paths inside!!

4. Update wording of "Delete Compiled Templates" (in Admin->Tools->System tools) to "Clear Templates Cache".

 Since at 99% task was about file moving, that can't be properly reflected in patch, I've commited it straight away.

Please test also, that both "in-portal" and all it's profile for them to include .htaccess in top folder.

 Patch tested and Repository Reviewed.


The following issues:


1. Didn't see .htaccess in Directory profile for 5.1.x branch:

http://source.in-portal.org/profiles/in-portal.directory/branches/5.1.x/


2. Adjust clear_cache.php so it looks the following, otherwise you'll be getting warnings from Linux:

cd ../system/cache/
find ./ -maxdepth 1 -not -name "CVS" -not -name ".svn" -not -name ".htaccess" -type d -o -name "debug_*" | xargs rm -rf

I have checked it - it has correct results.


The rest is okay - you can adjust and commit at the same time.

I see you have changed more then one task status to bring it to "reviewed and tested" status. This way you also changed Developer to yourself.

Maybe we should consider changing status change rules.
