A few comments:
1. For Link, Product, Article, Topic "shortcuts" I would try moving actual shortcut icon (arrow) to the right-bottom corner as it's done for all shortcuts + make arrow black so it stands out more. I think we have this done for New User Picker and FCK Editor icons.
2. Most of Icons look bigger and menu looks a bit crowded, what if we try to add an extra pixel or two between Tree elements to give it a bit more space, what you think?
Alex, do you think it's possible?

The icons look good but the rest is badly broken - you get a JS error right
away, catalog (tabs) don't work); Browse Website give you a fatal error.
Is there a "clean" copy where we can test it? Otherwise, I can't even
finish checking half of the icons...
See the screen attached...
Also, what the heck is Your Theme switch in the catalog?

Andrew,
Before you start - Please clear your Browser Cache + Close and Reopen the Browser. I have tested it in FF, IE7 and IE8 - no single JS. Please remember this technique since normal while Release is in Development and files keep changing!
Addressing your questions:
1. The icons that you see now is what was provided so far. I have NO other icons sent by Stas!
2. Current installation is the only place where Icons can be viewed because I had to hack around the files since:
a. all Icons were provided in PNG (except toolbar ones - Add Product, Link, Article are in GIF) instead of original GIF we had.
b. all Icons had different file names from original ones.
In total I spent about 2-3 hours just to complete these icons.
3. As we know you can have more than 1 Theme setup in your In-Portal. This worked just fine before In-Portal 5 generation. Now with all the Structure Changes that were done in In-Portal 5.0 when we create Sections from System Templates (physical templates in the theme) and NOT only User/Data Sections we need to encounter that different Themes can have different Sections Structure based on the templates they have inside. This is when you need to have some sort of switch which will allow you to quickly select the theme you want to work in - "Your Theme" does that.
Good example is Simple and Advanced.
a. It's only visible when there are more than 1 Theme is active.
b. When you change the Theme ALL User sections remain UNCHANGED and visible across the themes. Basically that switch shows you structure of the Template in the current theme.
4. Fatal Error was since we had NO design template in the Simple theme yet (was active) while Index.tpl template was told to parse one.
This is just fine and works as expected. Once Simple theme is in place it will work just fine.
For now I have changed to Advanced so Fatal Error is gone.

Icon "icon16_custom.gif" is used across the system. Check that it's present and is valid.
For ex. in product option combination list (during product editing) it is retrieved from "In-Commerce" instead of "Core" module and results in missing image.
Same on Inventory tab's grid, when inventory is made by product option combinations.
